什么是申诉?
申诉是关于您的承保或护理的正式投诉。
有不同类型的申诉和申诉理由。请了解这些类型,因为这可以帮助您更好地了解何时可以提交申诉、如何最好地解决您的顾虑以及等待问题解决期间会发生什么情况。
如果您的申诉涉及您计划承保的服务或药物以及您的计划支付的金额,这就是上诉。当您对我们就您的承保做出的决定不满意时,您可以提出上诉。
例如,上诉是指要求重新考虑有关下列事项的决定:

- 遭取消的健康保险

如何提出申诉
您可以在从理赔决定日期起或您关注的事件发生日期起最多180天内提出申诉。
大多数申诉必须提交给Blue Shield of California。与遭取消的健康保险相关的投诉也可以直接提交给管理式医疗保健部(DMHC)。如果您对申诉的解决方式不满意,您可以通过DMHC(针对Blue Shield计划)或加州保险部(针对Blue Shield Life计划)要求进行独立审查。

申请独立医疗审查
独立医疗审查(IMR)是自愿的,免费为您提供。但是,如果您不提出要求,您可以放弃对有关服务采取法律行动的权利。
