Not sure what’s covered? Need help finding care? Your online account is key to understanding and using your plan.
With your online account, you can:
✔ Access medical advice
✔ Check your benefits and costs
✔ Find doctors and specialists
✔ View your Blue Shield digital member ID card
Need to register your account? It is easy and takes less than five minutes. To start, you’ll need either your member ID number or Social Security number.
Download the app
Manage your health care from anywhere with the Blue Shield of California app. Simply use the same login for our app as you use for your online account. For even more convenience, add your digital ID card to your Apple Wallet®.

Say goodbye to paper clutter
Looking to ease an overstuffed mailbox? You can receive your healthcare documents safely and securely through your online account. Simply choose electronic delivery in your communication settings when you register.
Schedule your Annual Wellness Visit
Your new plan comes with many great benefits – including preventive care services, like an Annual Wellness Visit at no extra cost. Put your benefits to work right away by scheduling your yearly checkup. A regular checkup with your doctor can help detect early warning signs of health issues.
Set up automatic payments
Never worry about late payments. If your plan comes with monthly premiums, you can conveniently pay them through our AutoPay service. Once logged in to your online account, navigate to the Current Bill tab to enroll.
